Rod Stewart ที่เรามันจะคุ้นๆหูกันนั้น จริงๆแล้ว Rod มีชื่อเต็มๆว่า "Roderick David Stewart" เขาเกิดเมื่อวันที่ 10 มกราคม 1945 เป็นนักร้อง นักแต่งเพลง ที่เกินและเติบใหญ่ในลอนดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ แต่ปัจจุบันย้ายไปอยู่ที่ Epping แล้ว โดยเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของ Rod Stewart นั้นเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีจากเสียงแหบเสน่ห์ของเขา เขาเป็นที่รู้จักใน 1960 ปลายและยุคทศวรรษ 1970 ยุคแรกกับสมาชิกวงดนตรี Jeff Beck Group และวง Faces ในช่วงต่อมา จนในที่สุด Rod Stewart ได้มีผลงานเดี่ยวในปี 1969 กับอัลบั้มแรก
